UNC Chapel Hill Elevates Interim Chancellor
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has announced the elevation of Kevin M. Guskiewicz to the position of Chancellor. Guskiewicz, who has been serving as the Interim Chancellor since February 2019, will now lead one of the most prestigious public universities in the United States.
Guskiewicz is a renowned researcher and educator in the field of brain injury and sports medicine. He has been a member of the faculty at UNC Chapel Hill for over 20 years and has held various leadership positions within the university. Prior to his appointment as Interim Chancellor, Guskiewicz served as the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, where he oversaw one of the largest and most diverse academic units at UNC Chapel Hill.
